A single rack or two single-row racks are placed back to back, which is a double-row rack. The width of double-row shelves is generally between 1.8 and 3.6 meters, and the direct distance between each double-row shelf must not be less than 1.1 meters.

The width of multi-row shelves is generally greater than 3.6 meters, or the spacing between the shelves is not greater than 1.1 meters, and the total width of warehouse shelves is greater than 3.6 meters.

Electric movable racking can be regarded as multi-row racking.

The height of the shelves of high-level warehouses is greater than 7 meters, and it is necessary to rely on mechanical equipment or automated shelf warehouses with intelligent control operations.
